CINCINNATI, Ohio – On Friday night, the newly formed Bloomington Bison defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones 3-2, at Heritage Bank Center.
Brett Budgell scored his second goal of the season at 5:49 into the first period to open the scoreboard for Bloomington. Thirty-two seconds later, Lincoln Griffin scored the Cyclones’ first goal of the season at home. The Bison kept pushing during the game and went into the second intermission up 3-1. Two first professional goals were scored that night: Connor Lockhart for Bloomington, who scored twice, and Jacob Frasca for Cincinnati.

The Cyclones lost their second home game of the season, dropping to a 0-3-2 record.
