DULUTH, Ga. – For the final time this season, the Atlanta Gladiators and Bloomington Bison faced off at Gas South Arena on Sunday afternoon. With both teams eager to win the series, the action quickly turned physical with a fight between Atlanta’s Dylan Carabia and Bloomington’s Max Neill in the opening minutes. Soon after, a penalty on Atlanta led to the first tally of the game as Sam Coatta put the Bison on the board with a power-play goal. The Bison would go on to add another goal in the second period before Randy Hernandez would score the first goal for the Gladiators. The final goal of the game came in the first few minutes of the third period when Linus Hemstrom scored the insurance goal for Bloomington, securing the 3-1 victory over Atlanta.
