SAVANNAH, Ga – On Saturday night, the Savannah Ghost Pirates squared off once again against the Bloomington Bison, but this time, they came up short in a hard-fought 3-2 loss. Despite a relentless offensive effort that saw them register an impressive 54 shots on goal, they were stymied by Bloomington goaltender Mark Sinclair, who turned in a stellar performance to help secure the win for the Bison. Ross Armour continued to be a force on the power play, finding the back of the net once again and tying the franchise record for most career power-play goals. However, in a surprising development, Armour announced on Monday that he would be leaving the team to continue his career overseas. His departure marks a significant loss for the Ghost Pirates, as he has been a key contributor to the team’s offensive success. With Armour moving on, Savannah will look for other players to step up as they aim to stay competitive in the weeks ahead.
