Donald Carlson for Inside The Rink
MILWAUKEE, Wisc – Friday night at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, the Milwaukee Admirals faced off against the Charlotte Checkers for the first of a two-game series.
After a scoreless first period the Admirals took a 1-0 lead in the second Period. The Checkers scored in the third to even the score at 1-1, but the Admirals would go on to score three more time in the third to take a 4-1 victory over the Checkers.
Matthew Murray would stop 42 of 43 to take the victory, the two teams faced off again on Saturday night in Milwaukee. Click here to see that game gallery by ITR’s Cory Rokes.
