ROCKFORD, Ill – Saturday night was Autism Awareness Night at the BMO Center as the Rockford IceHogs faced off against in-state rival Chicago Wolves in front of a sellout crowd.
The IceHogs jumped out to an early 1-0 lead but the Wolves would answer with a goal of their own to tie the score 1-1. The IceHogs scored again but the Wolves would come back and tie the game at 2-2. The game would remain tided through the second and third periods and the game would go into overtime. The Wolves scored just 41 seconds in the OT period to take a 3-2 victory over the IceHogs.
