ROCKFORD, Ill. – Tuesday night at the BMO Center, the Rockford IceHogs faced off against their in-state rival the Chicago Wolves. The IceHogs fell to the Wolves 5-4 in a shootout .

Jackson Cates lead the IceHogs scoring, with a hat trick and Zack Sanford also scored. For the Wolves, Skyler Brind’Amour, Justin Robidas, Riley Stillman and Bradley Nadeau each scored goals during regulation time. With the game tied up and no goals during overtime, the game went to the shootout. Wolves netminder Dustin Tokarski stopped both IceHogs attempts during the shootout. Ryan Suzuki and Bradley Nadeau both scored on Rockford’s Drew Commesso on their shootout attempts to give the Wolves the victory.
