Keegan Bezenah for Inside The Rink
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – With the new year looming, the Cleveland Monsters and the Grand Rapids Griffins were looking to end 2024 on a high note. The party was set for a 6 pm puck drop in Van Andel Arena, and the Griffins made sure to blow the roof off the place. Grand Rapids showed up in the first period, scoring four goals in 12 minutes, and the Monsters had no chance of catching up. When all was said and done, the Griffins fans went home happy with a 5-1 win to end 2024.
