CALGARY, AB. – Wednesday evening, the Calgary Wranglers and the Coachella Valley Firebirds played their second game in two nights. The Wranglers started the scoring early with a goal by Sam Morton, on a pass from Dryden Hunt at the 0:34 second mark. Ian McKinnon tied the game for the Firebirds, going out in the first period.
Daniel Strong potted a hat trick in the second period as the Firebirds added seven consecutive goals to take the lead to 8-1 by the end of the second. The Wrangler’s Yan Kuznetsov added a goal late in the third to close out the scoring for the night and an 8-2 win for Coachella Valley.
