Eugene Erick for Inside the Rink
CALGARY, AB – The Coachella Valley Firebirds returned to the Saddledome for Game 2 against Calgary Wranglers on Wednesday. The first period was high tempo, with a lone goal by Sam Morton and plenty of hitting. There was no scoring in the 2nd period. William Stromgren added an unassisted goal in the 3rd period to close out the game with a 2-0 Calgary Wrangler’s win.
