CEDAR PARK, Texas – Saturday night, the visiting Coachella Valley Firebirds defeated the Texas Stars 5-1, thanks to two goals each from Max McCormick and John Hayden.
Riley Damiani scored the lone goal for Texas and Kole Lind scored the final goal for Coachella Valley. Ales Stezka stopped 25 of 26 shots and Matt Murray stopped 24 of 29. With the win, the Firebirds maintain first place in the Pacific Division.
