KNOXVILLE, Tenn – The Knoxville Ice Bears hosted the Evansville Thunderbolts on Saturday night. 

The struggles for the Knoxville Ice Bears continued as they extended their losing streak to 11 games. Evansville started the game with three quick goals in the first period. Logan Coomes was able to get Knoxville on the board, but the Thunderbolts took a 4-1 lead into the first intermission. Knoxville did close the gap to 5-4 with a last minute push, but Evansville sealed the win with an empty net goal. The Knoxville Ice Bears faell to the Evansville Thunderbolts 6-4.
