KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – After a controversial shootout loss in their last meeting, the Knoxville Ice Bears wasted no time seeking redemption against the Fayetteville Marksmen. Just 1:17 into the first period, Tyler Williams ignited the Ice Bears’ offense, slipping the puck past Mason Beaupit for an early lead.
The scoring frenzy didn’t stop there. Knoxville piled on five more goals before the halfway point of the game, showcasing a relentless attack that left the Marksmen scrambling to respond. Fayetteville managed to find the net twice, but it wasn’t nearly enough to challenge the Ice Bears’ commanding performance.
Knoxville’s 7-2 victory erased the sting of their previous loss and showcased their offensive dominance and determination.
