KNOXVILLE, Tenn – The Knoxville Ice Bears hosted the Fayetteville Marksmen on Friday Night. 

Knoxville were looking to turn their luck around against Fayetteville. The game started with back and forth action between the two teams, but Knoxville had an uphill challenge from the start with players out due to illness. Seven minutes into the first period, Knoxville’s Dawson McKinney took a five minute boarding major. The Marksmen took full advantage with two goals with a man advantage. Knoxville responded with a goal to bring the score to 2-1. Fayetteville went on to score seven more unanswered goals.  

The Knoxville Ice Bears fall to the Fayetteville Marksmen  9-1.
