JACKSONVILLE, Fla – The Jacksonville Icemen kicked off their Military Appreciation weekend against the visiting Florida Everblades on Friday night. Sean Josling would score for the Everblades in the first period, and Christopher Brown would even things up in the second. After a scoreless third period, Garrett Van Wyhe scored the game-winner in overtime to give Jacksonville a 2-1 OT victory.
