SAVANNAH, Ga. – Saturday afternoon brought a unique twist to the Savannah Ghost Pirates’ season as they faced off against the Florida Everblades in an early game, thanks to the record-breaking snowstorm that swept through Savannah. From the drop of the puck, it was clear that the intensity would be high. Both teams came out swinging, delivering big hits and battling for every inch of ice. Fans filled the stands, ready to see another thrilling chapter in this hard-fought rivalry, and the players delivered a gritty, physical performance. Florida’s defense proved tough to crack, and their goaltender stood tall, shutting down every attempt from Savannah’s offense. A couple of goals gave the Everblades the lead they would hold onto, with the Ghost Pirates unable to find the back of the net. The 2-0 loss was a tough pill to swallow for Ghost Pirates fans, who showed up in full force, braving the storm to support their team.
