SAVANNAH, Ga. – On Friday, the Savannah Ghost Pirates hosted their second Margaritaville Night, once again facing off against the Florida Everblades. The Ghost Pirates came out firing, making an immediate impact just 18 seconds into the first period with Hakon Nilsen scoring his first goal with the team. Only a few minutes later, Mackenzie Dwyer followed suit, netting his first goal as a Ghost Pirate to give Savannah an early 2-0 lead.

However, the Everblades responded before the period ended, cutting the Ghost Pirates’ lead in half. The momentum shifted in the second period, where Florida not only tied the game but also took the lead. As the period came to a close, tensions flared as both teams headed off the ice, with words exchanged and some pushing and shoving. The linesmen quickly intervened before tempers could escalate into a full-blown altercation.

The third period was comparatively uneventful, with Savannah unable to generate the offense needed to tie the game. When the final buzzer sounded, the Everblades secured a 3-2 victory over the Ghost Pirates. Despite some additional pushing and shoving after the whistle, the game ended without further incident.
