PHOTOS: Florida Everblades vs. South Carolina Stingrays – 11/02/2024

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays had an overtime loss against the Florida Everblades on Saturday night, with the final score being 4-3. Seth Eisele was in the net for the Stingrays, gloving 24 saves; Will Cranley was between the pipes for Florida.

Andrew PerrottGrant Cruikshank, and Kyler Kupka all scored for the Stingrays. At 0-0 going into second period, the Stingrays earned a power play opportunity and Austin Magera won the face-off, sending the puck to Alexander Suzdalev who shot the puck cross-ice to Perrott, who then made his second goal of the season.  Following that, Tyler Weiss sent Cruikshank the puck and he sunk it with a wrist shot. Less than a minute later, the Everblades rebounded and scored on Eisle. The score was even until 14:56 into the third period, when the Everblades scored again.

During the final two minutes of the game both teams made goals; On a power play, Kupka redirected a Tyler Weiss shot to put the Rays on top, but the Everblades responded 21 seconds later with their netminder Cranley pulled for an extra attacker, to tie things up.

The Everblades won in OT, putting South Carolina at 3-1-1-0 for the season.
