Cory Rokes for Inside the Rink

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – The Milwaukee Admirals defeated the Grand Rapids Griffins in back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday night, at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

On Friday night, Admirals goaltender, Matthew Murray, shut-out the Griffins for a 3-0 win. Goals for the Admirals were scored by Ozzy Wiesblatt, Chase De Leo, and Ryder Rolston.

On Saturday the Admirals, sporting their red fauxback jerseys, cinched the win in the 3rd period with a goal from Jake Lucchini for a 4-3 victory. Additional goals for the Admirals came from Anders Bjork, Ondrej Pavel, and Ryan Ufko. Grand Rapids goals scored by Gabriel Seger, Carter Mazur, and Joe Snively. UW-Milwaukee Panther arena also hosted “Women in Sports” this past week and honored Sophia Minnaert, Reporter for the Milwaukee Brewers, with a ceremonial puck drop.
