MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – Wednesday Night at UW-Panther Arena, the Milwaukee Admirals faced off against the Grand Rapids Griffins in the first game of the Calder Cup Central Division Finals.

The Griffins opened the scoring in the first period with a goal from Carter Mazur, but the Admirals tied the game to end the period 1-1 on a goal from Zach L’Heureux. Zach Aston-Reese scored for the Griffins early in the second period, but the Admirals’ Phil Tomasino evened things up again, ending the period tied at two. The Griffins scored twice in the third period with goals from Marco Kasper and Joel L’Esperance, to take a 4-2 victory and a 1-0 lead in the series.
