Donald Carlson for Inside The Rink
ROCKFORD, Ill. – Friday night, the Rockford IceHogs faced off against the Grand Rapids Griffins for the last regular season home game of the 2024-25 season. The game was scoreless at the end of the first twenty minutes. Gavin Hayes and Zach Sanford would each score a goal to give the IceHogs a 2-0 lead at the end of the second period. Cavan Fitzgerald would add a goal to give the IceHogs a 3-0 lead. Amadeus Lombardi would answer back with a goal for the Griffins to make the score 3-1. Jalen Luypen would finish off the scoring to give the IceHogs 4-2 victory over the Griffins.
