CEDAR PARK, Texas – Wednesday night, the Texas Stars defeated the visiting Grand Rapids Griffins 6-2 . A 35 save game from netminder Remi Poirier and goals from six different Stars players, including first career AHL goals from Artem Grushnikov and Ben Berard contributed to the victory.
With the win, the Stars complete a two game sweep of the Griffins and maintain first place in the Central Division.
