DULUTH, Ga. – Friday night saw the Atlanta Gladiators take on the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at Gas South Arena in what would be a high scoring, keep you on the edge of your seat, game that required extra time to determine a winner.
After the first goal came from Greenville’s Bryce Brodzinski, the Gladiators maintained a lead throughout the first two periods. However, the third period saw the Swamp Rabbits tie things up with five minutes remaining in regulation to make the score 5-5. Despite giving up a 5-2 lead after the second period, the Gladiators came away with a 6-5 win thanks to Eric Neiley‘s game-winning goal 5:10 into overtime.
