ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades outlasted the division-leading Greenville Swamp Rabbits 6-4 Thursday night.
A sold-out Hertz Arena had plenty to cheer about as the six different Everblades had goals, including a beautiful 200-foot empty net goal by Everblades defenseman Patrick Holway. Swamp Rabbits goalie Ryan Bednard took his seventh straight loss with 32 saves on 37 shots for a .865 save percentage. All three Stars of the Game came from the Everblades, with forward Logan Lambdin taking First Star and forwards Andrew Fyten and Sean Josling taking Second and Third, respectively.

I write for and photograph the Florida Everblades for ITR. I am a retiree that has turned my hobby of photography into a business. I currently live in Sarasota, Florida with my wife, Christy, but I'm originally from California. My previous career has taken me all over the US and the world and I definitely enjoy traveling. I've played hockey for over 30 years, learning as an adult, and love the game.
