PHOTOS: Greenville Swamp Rabbits vs. South Carolina Stingrays – 10/26/2024

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays swept the Greenville Swamp Rabbits with a 5-0 win at the North Charleston Coliseum on Saturday night. Goaltender Seith Eisele made his professional debut with a shutout, stopping 24 shots. Scoring for the Stingrays came from Connor MooreAustin Magera, Micah Miller (2), and Charlie Combs.

There was a lot of action in the first period, but neither team managed to get the puck in the net. Halfway through the second period, Moore sent a shot past Greenville’s netminder, Dryden McKay, to score the game’s first goal. The score remained at 1-0 through the rest of the second period.

In the third, the Stingrays scored back to back – Magera with an assist from Jeremy Davidson. Following that, Miller picked up the point with assistance from Jayden Lee and Magera. Combs got an empty net score with Justin Nachbaur assisting. Miller added his second goal of the game on an empty netter, assisted by Grant Cruikshank and Blake Thompson

The Stingrays will next face the Florida Everblades on Friday, Nov. 1, at North Charleston Coliseum.
