ROANOKE, Va- It was a fast paced and physical game Friday night at the Berglund Center, as the Huntsville Havoc edged past the Dawgs, with a final score of 4-3.
The first period saw Roanoke tallying 13 shots, with one goal, compared to Huntsville’s five shots.

Tempers flared as the second period saw a total of 21 penalty minutes for each team, including a full-line brawl. This resulted in game misconduct penalties for Roanoke’s C.J. Stubbs and Huntsville’s Carter Cowlthrop.

The third period saw Huntsville take the lead, and Roanoke fought hard to the end, in their efforts to regain the lead. Huntsville goalie Matt Petizian stopped 38 of 41 shots, and Roanoke goalie Brody Claeys stopped 14 of 18 shots.
