PHOTOS: Jason Johansen’s Best Photos of the Orlando Solar Bears 2023-2024 Season

ORLANDO, Fla – As we prepare you the upcoming 2024/2025 Season let’s take a look back of some highlights from last season. The Orlando Solar Bears broke the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the largest gathering of people wearing Aloha shirts with 1,254 fans participating. The Solar Bears also welcomed back Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton and the Scott Hamilton Foundations Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer event. Orlando ended the season with a 38-24-7-3 record earning 86 points to earn a spot in the Kelly Cup playoffs. They defeated the Greenville Swap Rabbits in the first round to advance in the playoffs to take on in state rival the Florida Everblades, Florida defeated Orlando in six games 5-1.
During the off-season The Solar Bear Marketing Depart was recognized by the ECHL as Marketing Department of the Year. The 2024/2025 season kicks off Saturday October 26th against the Savannah Ghost Pirates at the Kia Center, puck drop is at 7:00pm.
