Dawson McKinney was able to give the Ice Bears two more goals to give them a 5-3 lead and completed a hat trick in the process! Dan Winslow would score his second goal of the game to bring the score to 5-4 but the Mayhem were not able to capitalize any further and the Ice Bears took the win and were able to clinch a playoff spot.
