PHOTOS: Laval Rockets vs. Bridgeport Islanders – 02/28/2024

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Bridgeport Islanders welcomed the Laval Rockets to an exciting game that ended with an Islanders’ 0-4 defeat on Wednesday night. Both teams are without a chance to make the playoffs as the Bridgeport Islanders are currently last in the Atlantic division while the Laval Rockets are second to last in the North Division.
The first and third periods were scoreless, but the second period was rough for Islanders’ goaltender Ken Abbleby who made 21 saves on 25 shots. He was pulled in the middle of the second period, but the Islanders could not rally to score in the remainder of the game. The Rockets played a sound game, and both teams are focused on player development with the remainder of the season.
