GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms made a nearly 700-mile trek from Allentown, PA, to Van Andel Arena for their back-to-back games against the Grand Rapids Griffins. With their first meeting being on a Wednesday night, it seemed that the travel had no effect on the Phantoms. They came out strong, scoring a goal in both the first and second periods, and three in the third. The Griffins managed to score twice in the third period, losing with a final score of 5-2.
