PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence Bruins pulled out a win in the shootout Friday night against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
It was a back-and-forth game, ending in a 3-3 tie in regulation. After a scoreless overtime period, the Bruins secured a 4-2 win in the shootout. Reilly Walsh led the Bruins with two goals in the game and Georgii Merkluov added the other. Drew Bavaro made his Providence Bruins debut after signing a contract earlier that day.
