ROCKFORD, Ill. – Saturday night, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms visited the BMO Center to face off against the Rockford IceHogs for their first ever time in Rockford. Anthony Richard scored the first of his two goals of the game to give the Phantoms a 1-0 lead. The IceHogs got in the board with a powerplay goal by Joey Anderson and a goal by Calvin Fitzgerald to give them a 2-1 lead. The Phantoms would answer back with a goalfrom Hunter McDonald and a late period goal by Anthony Richard, for his second of the night. Jacob Gaucher scored the only goal during the second period to give the Phantoms a 4-2 lead.

Louis Crevier and Joey Anderson both scored goals in the third period to tie the game at 4-4. Jon-Randall Avon scored for the Phantoms to retake the lead and defeat the IceHogs 5-4.
