WILKES BARRE, Pa. – The Scranton Wilkes Barre Penguins and the Lehigh Vally Phantoms faced off Friday night at the Mohegan Arena, with the Penguins holding on for a 4-3 win.

Just 21 seconds into the game, Garrett Wilson and Bokondji Imama received 5-minute fighting penalties. From then on, the Penguins took control of the first period with four goals and a commanding 4-0 lead at the first intermission. The Phantoms came out in the second period and scored two goals in 16 seconds within the first two minutes to cut the lead in half. The Penguins held a 4-2 lead until late in the third period when Ethan Samson scored a power-play goal with 52 seconds left to end the period.
