KNOXVILLE, Tenn – The Knoxville Ice Bears hosted the Macon Mayhem on Saturday, for their annual Weiner Dog Races. 

The Knoxville Ice Bears were looking to gain some much needed points in their chase for the last spot in the playoffs. Both teams played a tight game in the scoreless first period. Macon’s David Nippard opened the scoring with the only goal in the second period. The Mayhem opened the third period with two quick goals within the first two minutes of the period. Knoxville pushed, but they were not able to put any pucks into the back of the net. 

The Knoxville Ice Bears fall to the Macon Mayhem 3-0.
