ROANOKE, Va – Rail Yard Dawgs fans were in the spirit of the Thanksgiving holidays Wednesday night, as they contributed to the Dawgs annual food drive. That spirit boosted the Dawgs to a win over the Macon Mayhem, with a score of 3-2.

Macon’s goal tender, Dyson Skinner, was an impenetrable wall, denying the Dawgs a goal until Mac Jansen broke through 50 minutes into the game. The Dawgs were on fire after that. They had a total of 47 shots on goal, and Roanoke goaltender Austyn Roudebush faced 35 shots from Macon. The final Roanoke goal from Tommy Munichiello was an empty netter with less than two minutes left on the clock, sending the Dawgs faithful into a frenzy.
