WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Railers hosted the Maine Mariners on Saturday night at the DCU Center for their annual Hockey Fights Cancer night. Worcester Railers Captain Anthony Repaci would take over the game in the third period, padding a 2-1 lead by scoring three goals for a natural Hat Trick and a 5-1 victory over the Mariners.
After a scoreless first period, the Railers opened up the scoring 1:34 into the second on a goal by Riley Piercey. Sebastian Vidmar would tie the game just minutes later at the 3:46 mark at 1-1. The Railers would regain the lead 2-1 on a goal by Jack Randl at 7:54 of the second period. Worcester goaltender Michael Bullion stopped 25 of 26 shots fired at him by the Mariners, and Maine goaltender Nolan Maier had 19 saves on 24 shots night over 60 minutes.
