CEDAR PARK, Texas. – Saturday night, the visiting Manitoba Moose defeated the Texas Stars 1-0 at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. The game marked the conclusion of the 2024-25 regular season for both teams, with the Stars moving on to play Grand Rapids in the Central Division Semifinals. Manitoba did not qualify for the playoffs.

After a scoreless first period that saw Texas outshoot Manitoba 10-7, it would be Manitoba that would get on the board first, midway through the second period. While on a 5-on-3 power play, Dylan Coghlan snapped a wrist shot from the high slot past Stars goaltender Remi Poirier, giving Manitoba a 1-0 lead. The goal would end up being the game-winner as Domenic DiVincentiis posted his first professional shutout, stopping all 26 shots he faced.
