Donald Carlson for Inside The Rink
ROCKFORD, Ill. – Sunday afternoon at the BMO Center, the Rockford IceHogs faced off against the Milwaukee Admirals. Both teams scored during the first period, but the game remained tied at 1-1 after no more goals in regulation or in overtime. The IceHogs defeated the Admirals in the shootout, to take a 2-1 win. Netminder Ben Gaudreau took his first AHL win as an IceHog, in his first full game in net, having taken over in net for the third period during Wednesday’s game.
