CEDAR PARK, Texas. – Saturday night, the visiting Milwaukee Admirals defeated the Texas Stars 2-1.

Ryan Ufko opened the scoring 16 minutes into the first period with a wrist shot from the high slot that beat Stars goaltender Magnus Hellberg, high glove side. Milwaukee would take a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.

After a scoreless second period where the Stars outshot the Admirals 13-5, Anthony Romano would tie the game 1:16 into the third period when he backhanded a loose puck past former Stars goaltender Matt Murray. The tie would not last long as Grigori Denisenko scored the game-winning goal just over 4 minutes later when, on the power play, he redirected a backdoor pass from  Ozzy Wiesblatt past Hellberg, giving the Admirals a 2-1 lead.
