LOWELL, Mass. – In a pivotal match on Saturday at the Tsongas Center, the Boston Fleet faced off against the Minnesota Frost. The Frost dominated the game, securing an 8–1 victory over the Fleet. Minnesota’s offense was relentless, with multiple players contributing to the scoreboard, while Boston struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game.
On what was Goalie Appreciation Day, Aerin Frankel made her first start for the Fleet since returning from the Women’s Worlds. Frankel was pulled after allowing three goals on 10 shots in the first period. Klára Peslarová allowed three goals on 15 shots in two periods of relief.
In a highlight for the Fleet, Jessica DiGirolamo scored her first career PWHL goal in the third period for the Fleet’s only goal of the game.
