WORCESTER, Mass.- The Worcester Railers started a three-game home stand against the Newfoundland Growlers Wednesday night, at the DCU Center. The Railers are fighting for every critical point needed to gain a post-season spot in the Kelly Cup Playoffs. A four goal third period 5-2 come from behind victory over the visiting Growlers, who were two points ahead of the Railers, was just what the doctor ordered. Worcester got two goals from Zach White, a first professional goal from CJ Regula, a game winning goal from Keeghan Howdeshell, and an empty net goal by Blade Jenkins. Keenan Suthers and Brock Caufield scored the goals for the visiting Growlers.

Henrik Tikkanen would backbone the Railers in net, with 33 saves on 35 shots, out dueling Growlers goalie Vyacheslav Peska, who faced 39 Worcester shots, saving 35. The three stars of the game, all from Worcester were #1- Zach White, #2- Keeghan Howdeshell, #3- Joey Cipollone.
