ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms hosted the Providence Bruins for a mid-week game on Wednesday night. In a game that required overtime, the Phantoms took a 4-3 victory.

The Bruins started off the night with scoring at 18:50 in the first period, the goal was scored by Matthew Poitras and Georgii Merkulov and Ian Mitchell assisting the goal. In the second period the Bruins scored again at 5:07 with Riley Tufte scoring, and Fabian Lysell and Patrick Brown assisting the Bruins second goal of the night.
In the third period the Phantoms finally put themselves on the score board with Jacob Gaucher scoring their first goal of the night and Ollie Lycksell and Zayde Wisdom assisting the goal at 1:54. They would go and tie up the game 3-3, at 3:19 in the third period, with Garret Wilson scoring the goal with Brendan Furry and Massimo Rizzo assisting the goal. Three minutes later in the period the Phantoms would go and officially take the lead with Massimo Rizzo scoring the goal with Garret Wilson and Brendan Furry assisting the goal. The Bruins wouldn’t let the lead last for long and would score 18 seconds later and pushing the game into OT. Riley Duran would score that goal with Brett Harrison and Tyler Pitlick assisting the goal. Fourteen seconds into the OT period, the Phantoms would finally take the lead and win the game. Ollie Lycksell would score the Phantoms OT goal with Rhett Gardner and Helge Grans assisting the goal.
