KNOXVILLE, Tenn – In their home opener on Friday night, the Knoxville Ice Bears faced off against the Quad City Storm. The Storm struck quickly, scoring just 11 seconds into the game and ending the first period with a commanding 3-0 lead. Despite creating several scoring opportunities in the second period, the Ice Bears couldn’t capitalize. Knoxville came out with speed in the third, but Quad City added two more goals to secure a decisive 5-0 victory.

Final: Quad City Storm 5, Knoxville Ice Bears 0.
