FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville Marksmen and the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs faced off Saturday night at the Crown Complex. The Fayetteville Marksmen took a 4-3 victory. 

During the first period, both teams showcased strong offensive and defensive play, keeping the game scoreless. The Marksmen came out firing in the second period, netting two goals within the first ten minutes. However, the Dawgs quickly responded with aggressive play, scoring twice to tie the game heading into the third period. The Marksmen regained control in the final period, adding two more goals to take the lead. Despite a late push and a goal in the final three minutes by the Dawgs, they couldn’t complete the comeback, securing the victory for Fayetteville.
