
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Wednesday night at the Allstate Arena, the Chicago Wolves faced off against the Rockford IceHogs in the first round of the Central Division Calder Cup Playoffs.
After a scoreless first period, Wolves’ Juha Jaaska would score the first goal of the game at 6:53 of the second period. Kevin Korchinski would tie the game up for the IceHogs before the end of the period. The game would remain tied 1-1 at the end of regulation, forcing the game into overtime. Artyom Levshunov would score the game winning goal on the power play, to give the IceHogs a 2-1 victory and 1-0 lead in the best of three series.
