Keegan Bezenah for Inside The Rink
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich – The Rockford IceHogs and the Grand Rapids Griffins faced off on a snowy Saturday night in Van Andel Arena for the second meeting of the weekend.
Rockford took the first game 2-0 and looked to win their third game in a row, while Grand Rapids was working to get back in the win column after two consecutive losses. Rockford and Grand Rapids went toe to toe with each other and, after a long game, went into overtime tied at 2-2, where Rockford Managed to put one past Grand Rapids and take the game to a final of 3-2.
