MILWAUKEE, Wis.- Thursday night at UW Milwaukee Panther Arena, the Milwaukee Admirals faced off against the Rockford IceHogs in the first game of the Central Division Semifinals of the Calder Cup Playoffs.
After a scoreless first period the Admirals took the lead scoring two goals less than a minute into the second period. Cal O’reilly scored 30 seconds in and Fedor Svechkov scored his 15 seconds later.
Rockford’s Paul Ludwinski and Gerry Mayhew would both score goals to tie the game up in the third and send the game into overtime.
Colton Dach scored the game-winning goal 12 seconds into the overtime to give the Icehogs a 3-2 OT victory over the Admirals.
