PHOTOS: San Diego Gulls vs. Calgary Wranglers – 01/25/2025

CALGARY, AB. – The Calgary Wranglers took on the San Diego Gulls on Saturday night in the first of a two-game weekend between the two teams. The Gulls got things rolling with their first goal by Carson Meyer and added a second goal before the period ended by Tristan Luneau.

The second period started with another San Diego goal by Sam Colangelo at 1:39 mark. The Wranglers responded with four consecutive goals from Yan Kuznetsov, Tyson Barrie, Adam Klapka, David Silye, before the Gulls tied it up again at 4-4.

Moving into the third period, the Wranglers added a powerplay goal, a shorthanded goal, and an empty netter, while the Gulls had a single even-strength goal, ending the game with a 7-5 Wranglers victory.
