ROSEMONT, Ill – Saturday night, in the first game of a weekend series, the Chicago Wolves faced off against visiting San Diego Gulls.
San Diego opened the scoring in the first period and scored their second early in the second period to go up 2-0. Chicago scored on the power play during the second period to make it 2-1, but San Diego scored again to take a 3-1 lead headed into the third. San Diego scored their fourth goal in the third period, to go up by three and ended the game with a 4-1 victory.
