CALGARY, AB. – The Calgary Wranglers took on the San Jose Barracuda on Friday afternoon to start the final two home games of the regular season. Both teams were coming off five days of rest since their previous game.

San Jose scored a pair of goals in the first period, while Calgary’s Carter Wilkie scored on a pass from Alex Gallant. The Barracudas blew the top off the scorecard with four consecutive goals before the Wranglers returned with a single goal to close the second period with a 6-2 score for San Jose.

In the third period, the San Jose Barracudas added two more goals, and the Wranglers replied with a single goal by William Stromgren. In a high-scoring 8-3 game, Scott Sabourin and Luca Cagnoni were among two San Jose players with three points each. The teams met again on Sunday afternoon to close out the season.
