DULUTH, Ga. – Gas South Arena welcomed the Savannah Ghost Pirates to face off against the Atlanta Gladiators for the first game of Heritage Weekend. Donning jerseys paying homage to the Thrashers, Atlanta’s former NHL team, the Gladiators opened the scoring early on in the first period and kept up the momentum for the rest of the game. When all was said and done, the Gladiators would shut out the Ghost Pirates by a final score of 3-0.
